들어서는 순간부터 느껴지는 정갈한 분위기가 인상적입니다. 너무 격식 있지도, 그렇다고 너무 편안하기만 한 것도 아닌 적당한 중간톤의 분위기가 식사 전부터 기대감을 높여주었습니다. 창가 자리에 앉으니 자연 채광과 함께 편안한 식사를 즐길 수 있었죠.

서울미나리의 대표 메뉴는 단연 ‘알곤이뚝배기’와 ‘뚝배기알찜’입니다. 두 메뉴 모두 뚝배기에 담겨 나오는데, 보글보글 끓는 소리와 함께 풍겨오는 향이 식욕을 자극합니다.

알곤이뚝배기

갓 끓여낸 알곤이뚝배기는 진한 국물 맛이 일품입니다. 곤이 특유의 쫄깃함과 국물의 조화가 절묘했어요. 다른 곳과 차별화되는 깊은 맛이 느껴집니다. 맑은 국물이 해장이 바로 되는 시원함을 선사하죠!!

뚝배기알찜

뚝배기알찜은 양념이 알에 잘 베어 있어 한 입 먹는 순간 깊은 맛이 입안에 퍼집니다. 매콤함과 달콤함의 균형이 잘 잡혀 있어 자꾸 손이 가는 메뉴였습니다.
아삭한 콩나물과 미나리의 향긋함이 봄을 알리는 느낌이었고 너무 맵지 않고 적당한 칼칼함으로 흰 밥에 쓱쓱 비벼먹기에도 좋았습니다.

미나리전

사이드 메뉴로 주문한 미나리전은 예상 외의 별미였습니다. 미나리의 향긋함과 전의 바삭함이 만나 입안에서 색다른 풍미를 만들어냅니다. 기름지지 않고 깔끔한 맛이라 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었습니다.
그리고 함께 조금 나오는 미나리 무침이 화상의 조합이었습니다
미나리전에 미나리무침을 싸서 입안 가득 넣으면 향긋한 봄냄새가 가득 입안에 퍼지고 새콤달콤 미나리무침이 느끼할 수 있음을 잡아주는 맛이 예술이었습니다.

이런 맛과 분위기라면 가격이 비쌀 것 같지만, 예상외로 합리적인 가격대가 인상적이었습니다. 알곤이뚝배기와 뚝배기알찜 모두 1만원대로, 양도 적지 않아 한 끼 식사로 충분했습니다. 미나리전은 2-3인이 나눠 먹기 좋은 크기였습니다.
정말 이정도 가격으로 서울 회사 근처에 있었다면 매일 점심 먹으로 가지 않았을까 싶었습니다.

With such taste and ambiance, you might expect high prices, but I was impressed by how reasonable the pricing was. Both Algoni Ttukbaegi and Ttukbaegi Aljjim were around 10,000 won each, with portions generous enough for a full meal. The Minari Jeon was perfect for sharing between 2-3 people.
